Journal Questions
You must complete one journal a week, and in numerical order (1, 2, 3, 4, etc). These count towards you final marking period grade, and if you choose not to do them, you will not pass this class. Make sure that you keep your journals in your class folder - these are checked at the end of the week, and if it is not in your folder, you receive 0 credit.
Write your answers on a piece of notebook paper (if you do not have one, there is a stack in the silver paper holder on my desk). Your name should be on the top right-hand corner. When you answer each question, you should number it (1, 2, 3, 4), and leave a space between each question that you answer and the next one.
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO ANSWER EACH QUESTION WITH AT LEAST THREE FULL SENTENCES. You WILL lose point/not receive credit for an answer if you do not follow these directions.
1. What type of art is this?
2. What are the materials used to create this type of art?
3. On every page, there will be an "about" or a "bio", that gives you information on the artist. Read this article and summarize. Where is the artist from? Explain something from his/her background. List any relevant information.
4. What is your opinion of this type work? Is it art? Why? Be specific in your answers!
